The Antioch Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of camp options in a fun, friendly and safe environment. At camp, kids gain confidence, independence, and respect and make new friends. Campers spend the majority of the day outside, so please plan accordingly.

An adult camp director supervises each camp. The counselors at each camp site are college and high school students that are carefully chosen for their high level of enthusiasm, maturity and their interest in working with children. All staff has gone through a training program that includes supervision and safety techniques, CPR, first aid, pool safety, behavior management, and activity planning.
The Antioch Parks & Recreation Department does not provide daily transportation to or from camp; however, we do utilize a school bus for field trips. Campers do walk to and from the pool daily and to various parks and other destinations in town.

SUMMER CAMP WARM-UP
Start the summer camp season off with a week filled with games, sports, cooking, crafts, and so much more! Pick only the days you need. Campers will be divided into age groups.
Location: Parks Bldg. Time: 8:30 – 4:00 pm Grade: K-7th June 2-6
All new formats this year! Come out for a new camp experience and all it has to offer. Campers will participate in large group activities and then break out into age groups for arts 'n crafts, nature walks, sports and swimming. There will be theme weeks and campers will swim at the pool everyday before it is open to the public. We will have field trips and Friday Cook Outs will be new this year. Don't miss a summer filled with adventure and fun in the sun! To make it more convenient and flexible for parents we are going to one week sessions. Sign up for only what you need, but you must sign up for at least 2 days a week.

Kiddie Kamp is designed for preschoolers ages 3, 4 and 5 with emphasis on outdoor and indoor group activities. We will have fun exploring, playing games and making new friends. Special events and theme days add variety to the daily schedule. With our extended day, campers will have lunch at camp. Please send a morning snack, and sack lunch including a water bottle to camp every day. Children must be potty trained. You must register for at least 2 days a week.

5 Star Sports Camp
The 5 Star Sports Camp is back and ready for another year! Send your athlete off to play sports all day with the 5 Star Sports Staff. We'll play a variety of sports ranging from flag football to capture the flag, and soccer to dodgeball. Every camper will get one-on-one attention to develop skills and fundamentals. The campers will be put in game-like situations with the emphasis on sportsmanship, team building and team strategy. To go along with all the sports fun, we will mix in movies and crafts, and every Friday will end with an all-camp water gun fight. All of our staff is AED and CPR certified so to ensure the safety of the participants.

EARLY BIRD/EXTENDED DAY CAMP
For working parents that need a little extra time before and after camp, our trained staff will provide supervision, quiet time and activities. Campers will be escorted to/from their respective camp sites.
Location: Scout House Time: 6:30-8:30 am and 4:00-6:00 pm Grade: K-7th

CHICAGO BULLS SUMMER CAMP
No one can teach basketball better than the Chicago Bulls! This summer, learn from the best and let the Chicago Bulls teach you how to play like a Champion! Every summer camp participant received an EXCLUSIVE UNITED CENTER EXPERIENCE!!! The summer camp is offered to two age groups. The rookie camp for children 6-8 is a beginner camp focused on building fundamentals and fun drill to get the kids to understand the game and improve their play. For the older kids, ages 9-12, coaches work on the "team" concept and refining and advancing the skills for the serious or soon-to-be-serious player. BRITISH SOCCER CAMP
Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camps provide young players of all abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts right in the heart of their own community. Campers will be exposed to individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games and scrimmages. Soccer skills are coached within a framework of character development based on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. We offer a cultural education too! Our ever-popular Camp World Cup Tournament allows us to introduce players to the geography, traditions and culture of other great soccer-playing countries. Simply put; amazing coaches, awesome accents and cultural ingredients combine for a one-of-a-kind camp experience. With each week-long camp, your child will receive a free t-shirt, soccer ball, giant fold-out poster and a personal player evaluation. Supplies: Campers should bring plenty of water each day. Full-day campers should also bring a packed lunch with a beverage and snacks each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen to apply as needed (we recommend an SPF of at least 30). Attire: Summer active wear, shin guards, and athletic shoes or soccer cleats. Partial scholarships are available for families willing to host the British coaches.

Registration for *Village of Antioch residents will take place on Saturday, April 5 from 9-11 am in the Camp Crayon classroom at the Parks and Recreation Building. *Antioch Township residents and non-residents can register from 11:00 am – noon. All registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Priority 1 - Residents wanting to register Monday – Friday (for 3 sessions)
Priority 2 - Residents wanting a minimum of 2 days (for 1, 2 or 3 sessions)
Priority 3 - Non-residents wanting to register for Monday – Friday (for 3 sessions)
Priority 4 - Non-residents wanting to register a minimum of 2 days (for 1, 2 or 3 sessions)
*Village of Antioch resident – 1-4 digit house address.
*Antioch Township resident - 5 digit house address.
Make your camp choice based on the grade your child will be entering in the fall.
Complete the Summer Day Camp 2014 registration form.
Be sure to include your child’s T-shirt size on the registration form.
Sign the waiver on the back of the registration form.
Bring proof of residency (water or electric bill).
Be at the Parks Building on Saturday morning, April 5.
$50 non-refundable registration fee – due at registration
$25 pool pass fee – due at registration
$100.00 deposit due at registration that will be applied to camp payments.
There will be a $10 administrative fee for any schedule changes made prior to the start of each camp week. Changes will not be allowed after the start of each camp week.

Refunds, less the $50 registration fee, will be processed up till one week prior to the start of a camp session. NO refunds are issued once camp begins unless it is accompanied by a doctor’s note. Refunds will be pro-rated based on when participation ends. Refund requests must be made in writing.
The $10 administration fee per week will be charged for any schedule changes made. Changes will not be allowed after the start of each camp session.
CHILDCARE EXPENSE STATEMENTS
Each time a camp payment is made a receipt is generated. It is your responsibility to maintain all receipts for Flexible Spending Reports and Income Tax purposes. A $5 administrative fee will apply for anyone requesting a new statement. Statements will be available for pick up in the Parks Office within 48 hours of the request.
