Recognizing that play is a very important aspect of a child’s development, the Village of Antioch Parks & Recreation Department program is based on the concept of learning through play and simple structured activities.  “Play” is an important part of a child’s intellectual and social skills. It is a social program for 2, 3, 4, & 5 year olds.  Often times it is a child’s first social experience away from the home environment.  We offer the children the opportunity to develop emotional, social, physical, and intellectual skills through a variety of creative and fun learning activities.

The goals of the Camp Crayon Preschool are to provide each child the opportunity to:

• Develop independence and self confidence.
• Learn to share and cooperate.
• Explore new experiences.
• Learn academics through fun, hands-on
• Feel good about themselves.
