Village Board Meeting, any future correspondence addressed to the
Village Board will not be read aloud at the meetings, but will be
entered into the record and made available for copying or inspection
pursuant to FOIA requirements. New Meeting Practices
Please keep in mind that there may not be an immediate answer to some questions, particularly if it is the first time the concern is heard. Staff may be asked to follow up with some specific questions or concerns. Vehicle Tax Program
Vehicle Stickers are no longer
required for your vehicle. The
Village Board of Trustees voted in March to eliminate the vehicle
sticker program. In its place, residents will see a fee for the
vehicle tax added to their water and sewer bills. The annual fee of
$20 per household will be applied to your utility bill over six
billing periods. If you are a senior citizen wishing to receive a
discount of $18 on your vehicle tax, you must complete the
appropriate form at the Village Hall. Please make sure you bring
your proof of age document. Any resident owning only one vehicle
may sign a statement requesting a $10 credit towards their
vehicle tax. Please go to our Forms page to
download the vehicle tax credit application.
