On Thursday, March 29th, the Village of Antioch will be hosting its 4th Annual Flashlight Egg Hunt at Centennial Park located at 601 Anita Street starting at 7:30 pm. This event is for Teens 11 to 15 years old. Registration is $5.00 per teen. 1000 eggs will be hidden throughout the park for the teens to find. Pre-registration is suggested. Limited to 100 teens.
On Saturday, March 31, 2018 the Village of Antioch’s Parks & Recreation Department will hold its 26th Annual Easter Parade and Eggcellent Easter Adventure at Williams Park in Antioch, Illinois. The Easter Parade will be at 10:30 a.m. on Main St. (viewing best between Park Street and the library). New this year, we are asking kids and organizations to participate in the parade by creating unique Easter bonnets and themed costumes and join us in the parade. The Egg Hunt will be immediately afterwards at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Park, held under the pavilion. Registration for the Egg Hunt will continue through Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Parks Office. The fee is $3.00 per child, and is open for children ages 1 – 10. There will be a $5.00 registration fee on the day of the event; limit is the first 500 Children. Each child will hunt for 10 eggs. 3 special Easter baskets per age group will be given out to those winning numbers called.
Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available at Williams Park until noon.
