Good Afternoon and Happy Friday, Antioch!
This week’s message comes to you from Downtown Chicago, where I’m attending the Illinois Municipal League’s annual conference alongside several members of the Antioch Village Board and village staff. This has been a wonderful opportunity to connect with mayors from across Illinois, sharing ideas and working together on common challenges. As always, I’ve gained valuable insights into how we can continue to provide the best local government for the residents of Antioch.
Fall Wine Walk – Tomorrow!
The Village of Antioch’s Fall Wine Walk is happening tomorrow in Downtown Antioch! As of this afternoon, tickets are still available. Tickets are $45 per person and include access to 30 stops with over 50 varieties of wine. Not only is this a fun event, but it’s also a fantastic way to support our local shops and restaurants. You might even find me pouring a glass of wine at one of the locations! A big thank you to all the participating businesses for helping make this event a success.

As a special bonus, don’t miss the *GooRoos aGOOstic Duo* performing live at Sequoit Creek Park from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow!

Congratulations to Judge Matt DeMartini
Earlier this week, I had the honor of attending the installation of Judge Matt DeMartini, a friend and former colleague. We are incredibly proud of his achievement in becoming a judge. Matt served as Antioch’s prosecuting attorney until recently, and we are grateful for his contributions to our village. Congratulations, Matt!
