Build an Obstacle Course Using Items Found in your Home

The course can be as long or short or as easy or as hard as you would like. Here are some ideas:

• Walk across taped lines on the sidewalk or driveway balancing a book on your head
• Balance an egg on a spoon and weave through some lawn chairs – race another player to make it more difficult.
• Walk across your taped lines backward, hop on one foot or skip across. Race another player to make it more difficult.
• Place hula hoops on the ground or draw big circles with sidewalk chalk and hop, jump, or leap from one to the other.
• Jump rope while counting to 20
• Stop and do 10 push ups or 10 sit ups
• Stop and hop in place for 20 seconds
• Do cartwheels or forward rolls on the grass

Paper Towel Challenge

Build the tallest paper tower you can using only paper and tape.

Start a Band!

• Make homemade instruments using paper places, beans, rice, and string. Use pots and pans and spoons for drums, and dig out some Christmas Decorations for.
• Compose your own song using homemade instruments and name your band!
