Important Information Regarding Village Payments
New Financial Management Software Launching October 27
Beginning Tuesday, October 28, the Village will transition to a new cloud-based financial management software from BS&A Software. This upgrade will improve operational efficiency and enhance service for both residents and businesses. The BS&A platform will replace the Village’s current SimpleCity system and gWorks’ online FrontDesk portal, offering a more modern, user-friendly experience for staff and residents alike.
During the transition period, from October 21 through October 27, the Village will be unable to accept online or credit card payments or post online payments while BS&A completes the final data migration.
- Payments during this time: Cash or check payments will still be accepted at Village Hall, and receipts will be provided upon request.
- Online and credit card payments will resume October 28.
Utility Billing Updates
- Water and sewer bills will be generated through the new system starting November 5, 2025.
- Residents with accounts on the old FrontDesk portal will need to re-register to view accounts or make payments - including recurring and automatic payments.
- AutoPay users (ACH/banking): If you previously set up AutoPay by completing and submitting an enrollment form directly to the Village, your payments will continue automatically. If you enrolled in AutoPay via the FrontDesk portal, you must re-enroll.
To manage your utility account, enroll in AutoPay, or update your contact information, please visit the Village’s new BS&A portal once it goes live, contact the Utility Billing Clerk at (847) 395-1000, or stop by Village Hall, 935 Skidmore Drive, to complete an enrollment form.
The Village appreciates your patience and cooperation during this transition as we work to bring you improved and more efficient online services.
