About the Aqua Center
The Village of Antioch Aqua Center is a vibrant summer destination designed for fun, relaxation, and community connection. This modern aquatic facility features a 20-foot water slide, a vortex whirlpool, a spacious zero-depth entry area, and a grand staircase entrance—making it easily accessible and enjoyable for guests of all ages. The six-lane, 25-meter lap pool is perfect for both fitness and leisure swimming and is accompanied by a diving board and an interactive kids’ play structure.
Operated by Antioch Parks & Recreation, the Aqua Center offers a variety of seasonal programs including swim lessons (from preschool to junior lifeguard), Aqua Aerobics classes, open lap swim, and parent-tot swim sessions.
Whether you're sliding into the water, relaxing in the sun, or learning to swim, the Antioch Aqua Center is a safe, family-friendly hub for summertime fun.

Monday - Saturday: 12pm - 7pm
(No diving board from 6-7pm; deep water open)
Sunday: 12pm - 6:30pm
Pool may close early due to special events or swim meets.

Pool Rules & General Information
- A child not toilet-trained MUST wear a swim diaper that is covered by a plastic swim liner. Plastic liner must have a tight fitting plastic or rubber part that is fitted around the legs and waist. Aqua diapers are reusable and should be worn over a swim diaper. Children without appropriate diapers are not allowed in the pool.
- All Visitors must wear proper swim attire for safety and health concerns while using the pool. Clothing made from material such as cotton is strictly prohibited.
- US Coast Guard approved lifejackets are allowed in the pool. No other flotation devices are allowed. This includes water wings, noodles, inner tubes, un-approved lifejackets, etc. ***The Aqua Center has a limited number of approved lifejackets available for use free of charge with a secured ID.
- Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. All non-swimmers should remain within an arm's length of a responsible adult at all times.
- Children age 11 and younger are not permitted in the facility unless accompanied by an individual over 16 years of age.
- Lounge and deck chairs are for ages 16 years and older.
- Coolers and food are not allowed into the facility.
- No glass containers or controlled substances are allowed. This includes baby food in glass containers.
- Safety breaks will be announced at designated times. Adults and infants, who cannot walk on their own, will be allowed in the water during safety breaks. Children must be held at all times. Slides are only open to adults during safety breaks.
- No smoking inside the facility or within 15 feet of entrance. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the proper containers on-site.
- No gum allowed in the facility.

Antioch Waves Swim Team Information
All swimmers must be able to swim, any stroke, one length of the pool (25 meters). Swim team practices will spotlight continued development of all four strokes (freestyle, back, breast and butterfly) as well as diving and turns. There will be a focus on technique and endurance. All swimmers are eligible to compete in up to five swim meets during the season.
