Village Releases Downtown TIF Eligibility Report and Redevelopment Plan

The Village of Antioch has released the Downtown Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Eligibility Report and Redevelopment Plan and Project for public review.
The report evaluates a proposed approximately 107.7-acre Downtown Redevelopment Project Area and outlines a long-term strategy to support downtown revitalization, infrastructure improvements, building rehabilitation, site preparation, streetscape enhancements, stormwater improvements, and future mixed-use investment. The proposed area is generally bounded by Lake Street, Hillside Avenue, Orchard Street and Williams Street, and the Metra North Central Service railroad.
